Clean the mandeli well and marinate it with salt and keep for 15 minutes.In a mixer, take shredded coconut, chili powder, turmeric, coriander seeds and black peppercorns, grind well to make a smooth paste. Take this mixture out in a pan and add little water, just about to make a curry like texture.Add sliced green chilies, chopped ginger, tirphala and salt to the mixture. Then put the gas flame on and cook it till a boil on a medium flame.Wash the marinated mandeli and add it to the mixture after it comes to a boil. Let it cook until 5 more minutes.Then add some coconut oil and kokam. Put the flame off.
