
- butter fish (pabda)
- 6 – sliced green chillies
- 4 tbsp – mustard oil
- 4 tbsp – chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2 tsp – black cumin
- 2 tsp – turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- Wash and clean the fish. Remove the jaws, sprinkle salt and turmeric powder on the fish. Leave aside for a while.
- Heat four tbsp of mustard oil in the pan, heat it. Add black cumin, turmeric powder, some water and sliced green chilies.
- Add the fish, reduce flame. Let the fish boil and soften, turn the fishes softly on the other side. Do it very carefully so that the fish does not break.
- Add salt and coriander leaves. Make sure the gravy does not dry up.
- Pour the fish along with the gravy on a flat dish.
- Sprinkle mustard oil over it. Garnish with more chopped coriander leaves and sliced green chillies.
