
- 1 cup Jowar Flour
- Green Chillies finely chopped 1/2 tsp
- 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves
- 6 tbsp Green Garlic
- 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
- 2 tbsp finely chopped tomato
- red chilli pwdr – ¼ tsp
- Salt to Taste
- ghee – 1 tbsp
- Cooking Oil /ghee
- Water hot to knead the flour
cup flour for 1 paratha ]
Grind the garlic leaves coarsely .
In a wide bowl, take all the ingredients with 1 tbsp ghee .
Gradually add hot water to the mixture .
Mix using a spoon until it mixes well.
Then carefully knead to a semi soft dough .
*Be careful while adding water to make the dough as onion will leave it’s water ,which will make the dough sticky and difficult to handle.
Heat a tawa.
Take a portion of the dough and roll into a ball .
Pat well either directly on the tava or on a surface /plastic sheet as shown in the video into thin parathas .
*There are many ways to pat it down like you can use a muslin cloth or a plastic sheet to pat it down and transfer to the hot tawa. Or you can pat it down directly on hot tawa. You got to be very careful as you got to be very quick to pat it down.Then carefully place this on the hot tawa .
Sprinkle the oil over the roti and cook over medium flame for the roti to get cooked well.
Flip it over to the other side and cook well.
Serve with pickle and curds.
