
- cup gram flour (besan)
- 2 medium chopped potato
- 2 medium chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 4 chopped green chilli
- 1 handful chopped coriander leaves
- salt as required
- water as required
- refined oil as required
- 1 dash turmeric
Place a pan over medium flame and add some water. Peel the potatoes and drop them in the pan. Make sure you partially cook the potatoes and then drain the excess water. Now chop the potatoes into small cubes
Then take a chopping board and finely chop the green chillies and coriander leaves. Then take another bowl and add in the gram flour along with some water and add the spices along with chopped onions, green chillies and coriander leaves, make a nice smooth batter. Then add in the chopped potatoes and the rest of the ingredients. Ensure that there are no lumps in the batter.
Take a frying pan and heat oil over medium flame, make sure that the oil is hot enough. Then take a spoon and slowly place the batter in the hot oil, once the pakodas turn golden on one side flip to another side. Fry the pakodas to perfection.
Take a plate and placed paper towel, drain the excess oil and transfer the Aloo Pyaaz Pakodas to a serving dish and indulge in the goodness. Serve hot pakoras with dhania-pudhina chutney or tomato sauce
